ABO’s season opener…
Music across the Nations

Please join us as we remember our co-founder and dear friend Richard Warren through a series of baroque masterworks representing Germany, England, France, Italy, Ukraine/Russia, and the United States.

Featured works:

J.S. Bach’s renowned Violin Concerto in E major, performed by Joan Plana
Vivaldi’s “In Furore Giustissimae Irae,” sung by Kathryn Aaron.

Other great works also included:
Rameau: Suite from Castor et Pollux
A. Wood: A Funeral Elegy on the Death of General George Washington
Two Slavic motets
William Boyce: Symphony in B-flat (and more)

We also welcome the debut performance of a new Yale student baroque ensemble, Les Fêtes d’Hébé, playing works by Purcell.
