Baroque performance is a collaborative art, and musical collaboration lies at the heart of the ABO’s values. The ABO is deeply grateful for opportunities to partner with these wonderful ensembles and artists.
Trebles of The Saint Paul’s Choir, Fairfield, Connecticut
John Abdenour, Music Director
The Saint Paul’s Choir is this parish’s reinterpretation of the Anglican choral tradition. Founded in the cathedrals and collegiate chapels of England, choirs of boys and men have sung daily services for nearly a thousand years. At Saint Paul’s, we express this tradition through a 48 voice choir consisting of treble boys and girls who sing together with an ensemble of skilled and carefully chosen adult altos, tenors, and basses. The boys and girls receive careful, systematic, and thorough training, and many study voice with one of the choir’s professional section leaders, or piano with the Director of Music.
