The American Baroque Singers (ABS) is an ensemble of
professional and avocational singers who present historically informed performances throughout New England. Based in New Haven, Connecticut, the ensemble rehearses once a week on a project-by-project schedule. Furthermore, ABS has performed Handel's Messiah in its earliest conception, as conceived by Artistic Director Mark Bailey.
Collaborative endeavors have included performing in partnership with the choral music program of St. Paul's Epsicopal Church in Fairfield, Connecticut, presenting a first edition version of J.S. Bach’s "Passion According to St. John.”
